Critcism of Nursing Home Oversight

This is an important article in the New York Times. It is referencing a recent GAO Report on Medicare/Medicaid regulation and compliance in skilled nursing facilities. Considering conversations I've recently had, there are certainly different camps on this issue. One thing is for certain though: homes that are in multiple I-J situations need closer state and federal oversight in order to regain any consumer confidence and industry standard improvements.
